The Lakes at Virginia Grove
Our Central Lake precinct at Virginia Grove will be completed, landscaped and open for the community to enjoy in 2024! This project has experienced several delays, and we’re excited to finally be able to deliver this exciting new destination to the Virginia Grove community.
Welcome to Virginia Grove!
In 2024 work will commence on our new entrance to Virginia Grove via McEvoy Road. We look forward to updating our community once construction commences. Watch this space!
Works will recommence on the McEvoy Road roundabout in 2024.
Roundabout Works to Recommence
Work on a new roundabout at the intersection of McEvoy Road and Old Port Wakefield Road is set to recommence in 2024 after some construction delays. We look forward to seeing this new piece of infrastructure take shape this year!
Linear Trail Extension
Works will progress on our linear trail network and fencing along Port Wakefield Road in 2024. This will help to complete our masterplan and provide important pedestrian links and sound mitigation to the community.
The City of Playford continues to work on the upgrade to Virginia’s Main Street which should be completed in 2024.
Virginia – Main Street Upgrade
The City of Playford is progressing their upgrade works to Virginia’s Main Street, with completion expected in 2024. The main street upgrades include shared pedestrian and cycle paths, a pedestrian crossing, improvement to stormwater infrastructure, the replacement of street trees, more on-street parking and a new play space in the Virginia Institute Park. New Look for the Virginia Shopping Centre
The Virginia Shopping Centre is set to undergo a long-awaited facelift this year, with a refurbishment and expansion due to complete in mid 2024. Read more about what they have in store here. The refurbishment and expansion is set to provide a new look and welcoming experience for Virginia including a brand-new Woolworths fit-out, façade upgrade to the building, shade sail car-parking and impressive finishes within the common mall area and centre amenities.
